![]() The man-made waterfall was a sure hit amongst picture enthusiasts -Staffs were nice. Although, once you took a dip and start posing for pictures, you would definitely forget the chill. Please don't expect warm water here, I bet the water is that cold all year round. Banahaw, the water in the pool and the man made spring directly flows from the mountain itself, which makes the water ice cold. He even let us transfer to a room near the man made spring, and gave us discount. Once we got there, we were immediately greeted by the staffs, and was assisted by manong (didn't catch his name, sorry) in choosing our table. The location was quiet far, but once we got there, the flowing water at the spring made it all worth it. We came prepared and did not have problems cooking our own food on the grill for two days.Īs a post celebration for my birthday (as well as that of my friend), my friends and I decided to go to Bato Spring at San Pablo Laguna. You need to rent a tricycle for Php40.00 each. Overall 8/10 ** Rates for food/beverage/toiletries/everything else in the resort are rather expensive so buy eveything beforehand sice you can't just go out of the resort to buy cheaper options cuz its location is a long way from the main road. We pitched a tent instead of renting a hut which was rather expensive but can accomodate groups (good for family getaways/company outings) paid Php150.00 for an overnight tent fee plus Php125.00 each for entrance fee. They made it in a way that it looks very appealing (which actually makes us want to go back) there are a lot of mini falls, your kids will have no problems cause they have made kids area along the pool. The whole place is man made including the whole area for the cold spring. ![]() They have swimming pools that runs 24 hours and a cold spring where you can enjoy swimming in icy cold water till 10pm and resumes at 6am. This place boasts a huge land area filled with trees and just nature around you. Other than the freezing Taytay falls just across the mountain, you will find Bato Springs Resort. but for an overnight stay this place is fine. overall this resort has a potential if only the management will improve their facilities and add more activities for their guest. if you're a nature lover you will ennjoy swimming here because the water in the spring is coming from different waterfalls. swimming in the iced cold spring is the only activity here. they have grilling stations and you can also cook therw provided you bring everything u need. they have food in their store and you can order there and they will bring it to your room/cottage but the menu is very limited so its better to bring your own food. the staff of the resort are nice and friendly. the check in time for overnyt is 6 pm while checkout is 4pm. the resort is an advantage for big groups with limited budget because it seems they have no limit in the number of guests that will accomodate in a room.as long as you will fit and pay the entrance fee which is 125 each they dont mind if 20 people will stay in a room with 3 beds which cost 2500 for an overnyt accomodation. it seems the other guests dont have plan to sleep. there is a sound system coming from the other cottages for 24hrs. the resort dont control the noise of other guests. but i didnt realize that we were located in a cottage with other different cottages intended for big groups so i was not able to sleep well because its very noisy. ![]() since it is raining staying in a non-airconditioned room is not a problem at all. since we dont have a resrervation we have limited options there are 2 rooms left 1 airconditioned room with 1 bed and 1 room with electricfan that has 3 beds so we just chose the electricfan room since we are a group of 6 and it is more spacious. i thought they dont have rooms for an overnight accomodation but luckily they have. i saw Bato springs and i love nature so i decided to check the place. ![]() We attended a wedding at a nearby resort and we decided to spend the night in the area and searched for a place. ![]()
