We have only come to this decision after consultation with our Community Advisory Panel, partners, board and with the full support of the marketing and fundraising committee. We recognise the time, effort and love that has gone into its execution every year by our race directors and volunteers, as well as the bravery of those who have dared to bare for us. Launched in 2010, Cupid’s has rapidly expanded to cities across the United States and abroad, and has raised millions for NF research. But, it has also presented opportunities for reflection and growth as we look to move the organisation forward. Cupid’s Undie Run is a mile(ish) fun run in which brightly adorned, underwear-clad team members run outdoors for NF awareness. Unfortunately, opportunities for fundraising have declined alongside these unforeseen and uncontrollable changes. Strong.īut the last three years have been tough on an event that performs best in front of an audience, not at home. And while this year may look different, we’re ready to make this the funnest, wildest, most thrill-anthropic Cupid’s Undie Run yet. After a year like the last, it’s about time we all had a reason to celebrate. Let us start by saying fck pants and 2020.
